Why This Tool Exists
DaVinci Resolve has the best transcription quality compared to Adobe Premiere and Descript—but all three have unreliable speaker detection. This tool solves that problem.
Bypass bad speaker detection: Record each speaker to separate audio tracks, transcribe them individually, then merge here with correct speaker labels.
Fix mistakes anywhere: Edit speaker names, correct transcription errors, or adjust timing—all inline, in any mode.
Rejoin split timelines: Transcribed clips separately? Sequence mode recalculates timecodes so everything lines up correctly.
Feature Highlights
Per-file framerate control — Supports HH:MM:SS:FF timecode (23.976 to 120 fps, or custom up to 999.999).
Framerate mismatch warning — Prevents processing if files have different framerates.
Per-tab settings — Switching tabs preserves your subtitle limits and output options.
Inline editing — Modify speaker, text, timing; add/remove entries without leaving the page.
Rename speakers globally — One change applies to all occurrences.
Subtitle limits — Set max characters per line, max lines, and minimum duration.
Multiple exports — Download as SRT or TXT, or copy to clipboard.
